Titanium, with the English name of Titanium, has the element symbol of Ti, the atomic number of 22, the density of 4.454g/Cm3, and the physical properties of melting point of 1668ºC, boiling point of 3262ºC, specific heat capacity of 0.52 (J/(Kg·K)), evaporation heat of 421 (KJ/Mol), melting heat of 15.45 (KJ/Mol), and electrical conductivity of 0.0234 (106/Cm). Due to the high cost of high-purity titanium, its application field is extremely limited, mainly used as a semiconductor material and a getter material in ultra-high vacuum devices. High-purity titanium has gas absorption properties, especially hydrogen, CH4, Co2 gas absorption, so it can be widely used in high-vacuum and ultra-high vacuum systems. When using high-purity titanium sputtering to fabricate LSI, VLSI, ULSI circuit networks, these integrated components can become extremely light, thin, small in size and dense in wiring.
